Clay Blend Feeder Installation & Single Step Bentonite Clay Flocculant Treatment of Wastewater

Beckart Environmental recently completed multiple installations of our bentonite clay flocculant feeder at applications ranging from corrugated box facilities to paint wastewater treatment facilities. These systems using our bentonite clay flocculant are effectively treating for wastewater compliance while the solids are conditioned for dewatering through a Beckart filter press. Treating wastewater with our single step Bentonite clay flocculant simplifies the entire treatment process.

Both the clay feeder and the clay blend are produced in-house at Beckart Environmental, Inc. The blend serves as a coagulant/sludge conditioner and flocculant all in one. These facilities are utilizing an auger manufactured by Beckart Environmental to automatically dose 10-15 pounds per 1,000 gallons of wastewater. The auger transfers the PolyClay at a transfer rate of 4 pounds per minute. The “hopper” is a 60 gallon cone tank that holds up to 500 pounds of the blended clay. Other facilities are using our supersack feeder produced in house at Beckart Environmental to treat wastewater for compliance. A 2,000 pound supersack is standard for this feeder.

For low cost operations of your wastewater treatment system, consult with the sales support team at Beckart Environmental. We offer standard and custom solutions to your wastewater treatment needs. We design, build, install and service these clay blends. We can optimize a current bentonite clay product a facility may be using to reduce dosage rate and improve performance. Our clay blend formula is enhanced and often reduces dosage rates of competing clay blends by up to 50%.
