Filter Press Curtain

Another innovation by Beckart Environmental is our Filter press curtain designed to contain pressure washing overspray while performing periodic filter cloth maintenance.

The ideal filter press installation allows for periodic cleaning of the filter cloth without removing the filter plates from the frame. This allows for cleaning to be completed tpically in just a couple of hours and operators do not need to handle or lift the filter plates.

Our Filter press curtain will catch overspray and keep any water from leaving the area.

The frequency of pressure washing cloths varies on a number of factors such as the characteristics of the waste stream, amount of oils present and the efficiency of the waste water treatment chemicals. When cleaning is necessary, the filter press curtain will contain any excess water.

If you are experiencing a need for excessive cleaning, contact your Beckart representative. Filter cloths are not all the same and different materials and CFM ratings can make dramatic difference in your filter press cycle time, cake quality and filtrate clarity.

Waste streams change over time and the chemistry, filter cloth and maintenance procedures need to be adjusted on occasion.
